I may be little, but I am strong
There have been many times when I have proven people wrong
I wanted to explore different aspects of life
The only way to do so was to just take a bite
Too many people just sit back and wait
I was determined to have a different fate
The beautiful watermelon so juicy and ripe
I had never tasted anything of this type
The vibrant red color is what caught my attention
Its shape was like something from a different dimension
I eyed the watermelon from a distance
I decided to make my way without any resistance
I took and bite and it was the best thing I had ever done
That moment made me feel as if I had won
On that day I decided not to let opportunities pass me by
Even if I fail I know that I did try
